Motorcycle Insurance: Protecting Your Ride with Real Choice
Owning a motorcycle is more than transportation—it’s freedom, community, and a whole lot of pride. Whether you ride a cruiser on weekends, commute on a scooter, tour cross-country, or rip trails on a dual-sport, the right motorcycle insurance keeps your bike (and your wallet) protected when the unexpected happens.
Advantage Insurance Network is an independent agency. That means we’re not limited to one carrier—we compare multiple top insurers to match your bike, budget, and riding style. And we make it effortless: our technology lets us quickly shop your insurance, surface discounts, and deliver clear options you can e-sign fast.

Why riders choose an independent agent
More carriers, better fit
From preferred riders to folks with a few tickets, custom builds to vintage collectibles—we place policies with multiple A-rated companies instead of forcing a one-size-fits-all solution.
Technology that saves you time
We use modern comparison tools and secure digital intake to shop multiple quotes in minutes, apply eligible discounts automatically, and streamline everything with e-sign and paperless delivery.
Personal guidance & claims advocacy
We translate coverages into plain English, help right-size limits, and if you ever have a claim, we’re your advocate—coordinating with the carrier and keeping things moving.
Core motorcycle coverages (what they do)
Bodily Injury & Property Damage Liability
Pays when you’re legally responsible for injuries or property damage to others. These limits protect your assets and future earnings—many riders choose higher limits and pair them with an umbrella policy.
Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist (UM/UIM)
Covers you and your passenger if an at-fault driver doesn’t have insurance or doesn’t have enough.
Medical Payments (MedPay) / Personal Injury Protection (PIP)
Helps with medical costs for you and your passenger. Availability and rules vary by state (see “State notes” below).
Comprehensive
Non-collision losses—theft, vandalism, fire, hail, animals, and more. Common on newer or higher-value bikes.
Collision
Repairs or replaces your bike after an at-fault or single-vehicle crash.
Popular add-ons & custom options for riders

State notes for riders we serve
We write motorcycle insurance throughout Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Tennessee, and Michigan.
-
Ohio, Indiana, Tennessee: MedPay is common; PIP isn’t used. UM/UIM is strongly recommended.
-
Kentucky (choice no-fault): PIP is part of the system for autos; motorcycle PIP is typically optional and may be rejected or added—let’s tailor what’s right for you.
-
Michigan (no-fault): Motorcycles are treated differently than autos under no-fault. Motorcyclists are not required to carry PIP, but you can add optional medical coverage. If a crash involves a motor vehicle, that vehicle’s no-fault policy generally provides PIP benefits. Liability requirements and other rules still apply—talk with us about the setup that fits your ride.
State minimum amounts of coverage rarely reflect real-world risk. We’ll price higher limits and show how little extra they often cost.
